This is a picture of Ben Watson at the Cahaba RIver. Growing up we've always played there, swinging from homemade rope swings and floating down its murky waters. The Cahaba is surely not the cleanest river in Alabama. The river has alway given off a Huckleberry Finn vibe. It just calls you to freedom and carelessness. I really want to run away, build a raft, and just go down it one day. The river sparks adventure and leisure, in my opinion the best of both worlds. This particular part of the river was new to me. I decided that I wanted a picture of ben on shore while I was in the water. Yeah thats right, in this shot I was up to my waist in the river. We had to cross the river a couple of times that day with my camera. It was really scary considering the price of camera and rarity of film. Any way I ultimately got what I wanted out of the picture. I won't be seeing a lot of this guy next year, so this is just a held memory of good times at the river.
